The Capel Community Association run a 100 Club which raises funds towards the maintenance and improvement of the Village Hall. It is the main fundraiser for the CCA and raises approximately £800 per year.

There are at least 17 prizes per year including monthly, quarterly, and an annual prize which last year was £400. The cost of membership is £10 per quarter (77p per week), payable by quarterly standing order.

A prize winner said “I have to say I was absolutely gob smacked to receive the top prize in this year’s draw. I have lived in the village since 1988 and been a member of the CCA 100 Club for I think around 20 years. What I can say is that the CCA does a terrific job for the Parish and the Capel Village Hall is an invaluable amenity we are lucky to have. Both my children, although now grown up, have benefited from it and my daughter still does as a young leader with the Guides. I would encourage anyone who does not already contribute to this worthwhile cause to do so now. Not only will you be helping to provide a focus for the village and supporting events like the Fete, but you never know you might win some money” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
