Main Hall

The Main Hall is licensed to hold a maximum of  300 people. For inside use only, we have 150 chairs, 27 large and 10 small tables available to hirers.  These are stacked, with trolleys, in a lockable storage room at the rear of the hall. Additional chairs are available on request. The dimensions of the main hall are 80 feet by 40 feet (24.4m x 12.2m) and the ceiling height is 9foot 8 Inches (3m). In addition to the main exit, the hall also has two double door emergency fire exits locates on each side of the hall. Heating is provided by a gas fired heating ventilation system which distributes heated air via ceiling vents and is controlled by hirers. The lighting fixtures and controls offer a choice from very bright to subtle light.

Small hall / Meeting room

The meeting room can hold up to 60 people and has 24 chairs dedicated to the room. With prior arrangement additional furniture can be obtained from the hall storage room if required. This room is ideal for committee meetings or small functions measuring 24.5 feet x 16 feet (7.5m x 4.9m). There is a separate electric heating system and a double door emergency fire exit.

Kitchen

The hall has a large kitchen with ample worktops and a table; two large serving hatches can be opened onto the main hall. Equipment includes a large cooker, microwave, fridge, tea urn, kettles, and a limited amount of crockery. 200 place settings of cutlery are available on request. There is an emergency fire exit door.

Changing Rooms

The hall has separate home and away changing rooms which each have their own showers and toilets. A referee’s room that complies with local football league requirements is also available.

Access

There is level access from the main entrance to all areas of the village hall. The meeting room also has separate access via a ramp. There is also a disabled toilet.

Outside

The outlook from the hall is playing fields on one side and on the other side an open grassed area, suitable for outdoor summer events. (Chairs for outside use are available for hire). The car park can accommodate up to 60 cars. The recreation ground has children’s play areas etc.
