The group currently has 21 Brownies. We meet every Wednesday between 5pm and 6.30pm during term time at the Capel Village Hall where we have many activities. This term we have been working on our Toymaker badge, which the Brownies have made jointed puppets and then put on a puppet show in their sixes, we also made a toy or costume from recycled materials and designed a puzzle. Brownies made a display for the local flower festival in Thomas à Becket church . Flowers and plants we have grown have now been transplanted in our garden at the Village Hall. We have designed posters to keep Five Oak Green Tidy and entered them into the village competition. We have also made cheesecakes and fresh fruit skewers.We have designed a greetings card to enter into the village Gardeners show. We have 2 young leaders who have recently completed their Young Leader Qualification.
